Subject: [Staff] DICE - online FAQ and Q&A sessions

As many of you will have seen from the recent announcement, the first
stage of the DICE project is due to be deployed from Summer 2002.
There is now a revised DICE FAQ available which will provide useful
information about DICE and the deployment process. It can be found at
http://www.dice.informatics.ed.ac.uk/faq/.
In order to provide further information to staff there will also be
some lunchtime Q&A sessions, from 1-2pm, which will give a brief
overview of DICE and an opportunity to ask questions. The emphasis
will be on general issues rather than in depth technology-related
aspects; feel free to ask the latter by email.
The Q&A sessions will be run at the main locations as follows:
Mon 4 Feb: Buccleuch Place, Conference Suite
Wed 6 Feb: Forrest Hill, Jim Howe Seminar Room
Thu 7 Feb: JCMB, 2511
If you can't attend your local one feel free to turn up at an
alternative session.
